From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jump to: navigation, searchHurricane Diana was the fourth named storm and second hurricane of the 1990 Atlantic hurricane season. It formed in August in the Caribbean Sea and made landfall over the Yucatán Peninsula as a tropical storm. Later, it entered the Bay of Campeche and strengthened to a Category 2 hurricane before slamming into the Mexican state of Veracruz.
